Vi ønsker alle godt år og fred!

til árs ok friðar, (‘for år og fred’) er en norrøn formel som var brukt i forbindelse med offer og rituell drikk, og i tidlig kristen tid i sammenheng med å skåle og drikke juleøl. Vi pleier selvsagt å skåle til til árs ok friðar med hjemmebrygget juleøl, med ønske om fred, velstand, lykke og fremgang i året som kommer.

Fortidsfamilien var selvsagt nissefamilie på årets Førjuldag på Hordamuseet og benyttet anledningen til årets julebilder da.

til árs ok friðar (‘to year and peace’) is a Norse formula that was used in connection with sacrifice and ritual drink, and in early Christian times in the context of toast and drink Yule beer. We allways drink a toast in home brewed beer in hope of a good and peaceful year, with the wish for happiness and prosperity in the coming year.

The Past times family was of course a santa family at this year Christmas event at the Hordamuseet, and used the opportunity to take this Christmas pictures.
